Position Summary

As a Loan Officer at Growers Edge, you’ll play a critical role in transforming the future of agricultural finance. You’ll be responsible for building and managing a high-quality loan portfolio while representing our innovative financial solutions and growing the Growers Edge brand in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Market Growth

Achieve growth targets for your region by expanding Growers Edge’s footprint and acquiring new loan business.

Champion Innovation

Promote and sell our technology-driven financial products, showcasing how our modern lending solutions benefit the agricultural community.

Build and Nurture Relationships

Maintain regular contact with clients, ag retailers, and other partners to strengthen relationships, generate loan volume, and support long-term success.

Deliver Operational Excellence

Partner with internal teams to ensure efficient loan processing and deliver a seamless and positive experience for clients.

Manage Portfolio Risk

Support collection efforts and monitor portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with internal policies and sound risk practices.

Collaborate and Contribute

Work cross-functionally to develop go-to-market strategies, coordinate sales pipelines across product lines, and drive overall business results.

Required Skills and Experience

Ag Expertise: Strong background in agriculture with proven business development experience.
Credit & Underwriting: 1-3 years of experience in credit analysis and underwriting.
Relationship Builder: Ability to cultivate strong connections with teammates, clients, and partners.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using and explaining technology-driven products and services.
Self-Motivated: Independent, results-driven, and able to prioritize your sales execution day-to-day.
Excellent Communicator: Clear, persuasive, and passionate about helping clients succeed.
