About Singularity Energy
Founded in 2018, Singularity Energy delivers cutting-edge clean energy and carbon management software and data solutions that help utilities and grid operators accurately measure emissions and manage innovative voluntary carbon-free energy programs. Our platform enables real-time, location- and market-based emissions data, empowering our customers—and their commercial and industrial (C&I) customers—to understand and reduce their Scope 2 emissions from electricity consumption.
Backed by leading investors including Spero Ventures, Third Sphere, and Energy Impact Partners, and recognized by TIME, Harvard, EPRI, and the National Science Foundation, we are scaling from successful pilots to full commercial deployment.
The Role
We are hiring a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to lead customer delivery and technical success for our utility and grid operator partners. In this role, you will guide customers through the onboarding and implementation process, ensure technical alignment across teams, and help support ongoing use of the Singularity platform.
You will work directly with utility staff responsible for clean energy and emissions programs, providing the tools they need to serve their own customers—including large C&I customers—with accurate, actionable emissions and clean energy data.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role that bridges customer engagement, technical delivery, and internal collaboration, with the opportunity to help shape and improve how we deliver complex utility programs at scale.
What You'll Do
🛠 Technical Implementation & Support
Lead onboarding and technical delivery for new utility and grid operator customers—from kickoff through data integration, validation, and go-live.
Configure customer-specific product settings and workflows for emissions accounting and voluntary carbon-free energy program management.
Act as the primary technical point of contact during implementation, supporting customers in adopting the Singularity platform, including the delivery of complex data integrations.
📈 Program Enablement
Work with utilities to support carbon-free energy programs and carbon reporting for their customers, especially large C&I customers.
Guide utilities through Scope 2 emissions accounting, including both location- and market-based methods, and real-time carbon data applications.
Assist in delivering end-customer outputs such as carbon impact dashboards and data reports.
🧩 Project Management & Collaboration
Own delivery timelines and execution using internal tools like Jira and Notion.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
Help shape our customer delivery operations by bringing project management best practices from prior experience and refining internal processes.
