Key Responsibilities:
- Team Lead ,People Manager, accountable for team performance in procurement.
- Responsible to conduct Daily, weekly and Monthly review on Material availability.
- Purchasing all kinds of parts like Casting, forging, Machining ,sheet metal parts ,Wiring harness, Display, Lighting, Motor, DC-DC & BMS parts from domestic/Import vendors.
- To ensure suppliers capacity and capability to meet production demand.
- Review the critical supplier and drive preventive action plan
- To drive improvements in various aspects of the supply chain- OTD, Inventory management, lead time reduction and cost saving.
- Familiarity with JIT, Kanban & VSM
- Work with quality team to continue improve the supplier quality performance
- Handling ECN changes, BOM changes, coordination with design team and engineering team
- Preparing the MIS report and analysis to the management.
- Ensures compliance, safety standards and sustainability with the company.
- Planning and control towards no premium freight.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in engineering or Supply chain Management is preferred.
- 10-12 years of strong experience in supply chain
- Has Extensive experience interfacing with strategic suppliers and managing relationships
- SAP knowledge the mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and people skills
